Golf Lessons & Tuition with PGA Head Professional,
Aung Myint Htwe
Aung came to Australia at the age of 18 from Myanmar, with very limited English and aspirations to become a professional golfer, oblivious to the journey ahead. Months of lessons, homesickness, new foods and a different culture, cold Melbourne weather and difficult beach training sessions, Aung soon learnt that the journey to professional golf was a long and hard one.
It was soon after this that he began his tertiary education, which included a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science at Deakin University followed by the PGA of Australia Trainee Program (now referred to as the Membership Pathway.) Upon the completion of the Trainee Program, Aung became a member of the PGA Australia and a professional Golfer, taking a role at Mornington Golf Club as a Golf Professional.
Aung is dedicated to teaching the great game of golf to new golfers, whilst also fixing existing golfers’ slice or hook!
Private & Corporate / Group Lessons are available Wednesday – Saturday by appointment only.
